Built for seller visibility

See the shop data sellers check every week

HeySeller is designed for Etsy sellers who want a simpler way to inspect shop and listing data that is available through approved Etsy API scopes. The first release will start with roughly 100 invited sellers, then expand toward general availability.

Shop overview

Review connected shop profile, country, listing counts, and account-level signals in one place.

Listing details

Inspect titles, states, quantities, prices, categories, images, tags, and metadata for active and inactive listings.

Sold signals

Track sales-related summaries and listing signals when a seller grants the required Etsy OAuth scopes.

How it works

A seller-controlled connection

HeySeller does not ask sellers to generate API keys. Each seller connects their own shop with Etsy OAuth and can revoke access from their Etsy account.

01

Invite

HeySeller starts with the first 100 invited sellers during beta, then opens to more Etsy sellers after review and testing.

02

Authorize

The seller approves access through Etsy OAuth. HeySeller only requests the scopes needed for dashboard features.

03

Review

The dashboard organizes shop, listing, and sales-related signals so sellers can understand what needs attention.

04

Disconnect

Sellers can disconnect the app and revoke access through Etsy at any time.

Data and API use

Designed to be clear about what it does and does not do

HeySeller is being built as a low-risk analytics product. The first release is focused on read-only visibility rather than listing automation or order fulfillment.

What HeySeller may access

  • Shop profile information and shop country.
  • Listing information such as title, status, price, quantity, tags, images, taxonomy, and metadata.
  • Sales-related summaries when approved scopes are granted by the seller.
  • OAuth tokens required to keep the dashboard connected securely.
  • Cached Etsy content only for the time reasonably needed to provide the dashboard, following Etsy API requirements.

What HeySeller does not do

  • ×Does not ask sellers to create or share their own Etsy API keys.
  • ×Does not scrape Etsy pages or use unofficial Etsy endpoints.
  • ×Does not create, update, delete, or publish listings in the initial product scope.
  • ×Does not request buyer email access unless separately reviewed and approved by Etsy.
  • ×Does not sell seller data or use connected shop data for advertising networks.
FAQ

Questions sellers and reviewers usually ask

Is HeySeller an official Etsy product?

No. HeySeller is an independent application that uses the Etsy API. It is not endorsed or certified by Etsy, Inc.

Who can use the beta?

The first beta is limited to roughly 100 invited shops. Commercial access is requested so HeySeller can expand beyond that initial group after review and testing.

Does HeySeller change my listings?

No. The initial version is read-only and focused on analytics. It does not create, update, delete, or publish listings.

How does HeySeller connect to a shop?

Each seller connects through Etsy OAuth. HeySeller never asks a seller to create a separate API key or share secret credentials.

Review shop and listing signals without rebuilding a spreadsheet every week

HeySeller is preparing a private beta for invited Etsy sellers who want clearer shop and listing visibility through an OAuth-connected dashboard.
